    Best Moving Company Software (2026)

Thirteen tools, what each one does, and what each one charges. Written by a second-generation mover who builds one of them, so this list is not ranked and ours is marked.

Daniel Kline, founder. Updated 2026-11-04. Prices read from each vendor's own site on the date shown next to them.

The best moving company software depends on what is costing you jobs. To run the whole company from one system, look at a moving CRM such as SmartMoving, Elromco, MoveItPro, Movegistics or Chariot. If your CRM works but leads go cold before they get a number, add a quote form and a video survey in front of it, such as MoveBlueprint, Yembo or HomeSurvey.ai. Most movers need one CRM and one tool for winning the job, and the two connect.

Moving company software comes in two kinds

The first kind runs the company after the job is sold: pipeline, dispatch, crews, invoices, storage. That is a moving CRM. You want one of these, and only one.

The second kind wins the job before anybody calls back: a price on your website, a date the customer can book, a walkthrough of the home on video. Some CRMs include a version of this. Other tools do only this and send the result into the CRM you already run.

    Moving CRMs and all-in-one platforms

    SmartMoving

The all-in-one choice for a shop with office staff to run the setup: pipeline, dispatch, billing, storage and crew in one system. No price on the site, so you find out on a demo. MoveBlueprint has a native lead push into it, so the two work together. SmartMoving compared.

    Supermove

Built around your own rep or estimator: the estimator app, and AI that drafts the inventory from the sales call. The customer does not film anything on their own. It fits a shop with people on the phones. No published price. Supermove compared.

    MoveItPro

A full CRM with its price on the page and a live video call survey on every plan. Your office runs the call, so it takes a slot on both calendars. Twelve months prepaid gets the $382 rate; month to month is $449. Read the AI line too, since it bills by tokens. MoveItPro compared.

    Movegistics

A deep relocation platform, in business since 2010 by their count, with strong tariff, storage, interstate and international tools. HomeSurvey.ai comes from the same team. Reviewers often mention the learning curve, and the price takes a demo. Movegistics compared.

    Chariot

One tier that includes unlimited office and crew users and two-way texting. It estimates crew size and hours from the inventory. Payment is quarterly or annual, so plan on a longer first commitment than one month. Chariot compared.

    Elromco (MoveBoard)

A full suite with CRM, online quoting, dispatch, eBOL, a crew app and payroll, with no setup fee. Its AI inventory reads photos the customer takes in the client portal. Worth a look if you want everything from one vendor with the price in the open. Elromco compared.

    Moverbase

A low-cost way into a CRM: a free tier of 10 quotes a month, then plans priced by quote volume. It has no customer-filmed video survey of its own. Moverbase compared.

    Vonigo

Field-service software for several trades, moving among them, and priced per user. It makes the most sense if you also run cleaning or junk removal under one roof. No published price. Vonigo compared.

    Virtual Estimate AI

A newer CRM that bundles an AI survey on its upper tier. Check the video cap against your lead count: $599 a month covers 40 videos. estimating software compared.

    AI and video survey software

    Yembo

An AI survey suite sold to movers and insurers. It offers four survey modes, including surveys run by Yembo staff, and writes and signs the estimate inside Yembo before handing off to your CRM. Sales-led, with no published price. Yembo compared.

    LiveSwitch

A video platform for field-service trades, movers included. It runs live calls with on-screen markup and recorded walkthroughs, and its AI sends a room-by-room inventory into SmartMoving. Pick it if your office wants to stay on the call. LiveSwitch compared.

    HomeSurvey.ai

Customer-filmed surveys at $20 each, with the first 10 free and bigger packs for less per survey. A low-risk way to find out if your customers will film. The cost per survey adds up as your volume grows. HomeSurvey.ai compared.

Instant quotes and booking on your own website: MoveBlueprint

This one is ours. MoveBlueprint puts a quote form on your website that shows the customer a price range on the spot, from your own rates. The customer can book a date right there, with a hold on their card for your deposit. The card is charged only when you confirm, straight to your own account.

The customer can also film the home once, talking as they go, or walk it with you on a live video call. The AI recognizes the items, standard tables give the cube and weight, and the inventory lands in your CRM. SmartMoving has a native push. Other CRMs connect through the API, webhooks or a lead email.

It is not a CRM, and it does not do dispatch, invoicing or payroll. If you have no CRM, you can work from our dashboard, but a growing shop will still want one of the systems above. The quote form is free with no card. Booking and the walkthrough are $199 a month with no contract. Full pricing.

Which moving software should you buy?

You run everything from spreadsheets and need one system for the whole company. Start with a CRM. SmartMoving, Elromco, MoveItPro and Chariot are the ones to demo. Moverbase is the cheap way in.

You have office staff and most of your work is interstate or storage. Movegistics or SmartMoving. Both go deep and both take time to set up.

Your CRM works, but leads go cold while they wait for a number. Keep the CRM. Put an instant moving quote on your website, which MoveBlueprint does for free.

You drive out to quote jobs, or you quote blind over the phone. A video survey. The customer films it with MoveBlueprint, Yembo or HomeSurvey.ai, or you walk it together on a live video survey. Survey tools compared.

You lose jobs between the quote and the deposit. Online booking with a card hold, so the customer can pick a date on the same screen as the price.

    Moving company software, answered

What is the best moving company software?

It depends on what is costing you jobs.

How much does moving company software cost?

Of the prices vendors publish: Moverbase has a free tier and paid plans from $29 a month, Elromco starts at $289 a month, Chariot at $293 a month, and MoveItPro at $382 a month on twelve months prepaid, $310 on thirty-six. SmartMoving, Supermove, Movegistics, Yembo and Vonigo publish no price. The MoveBlueprint quote form is free; booking and the walkthrough are $199 a month.

Do I need a CRM and a separate quoting tool?

Not always. Some CRMs include online quoting or a survey. A separate tool makes sense when you like your CRM and want a price on your website, online booking or a customer-filmed walkthrough it does not do well. The result should land in the CRM so nobody types the job twice.

What moving software works for a small moving company?

Start with what hurts. If the owner still quotes every job, a free quote form on the website and a video survey save the most evenings. If jobs and crews live in a spreadsheet, a CRM with a published price, such as Moverbase, Elromco or Chariot, is an easy first demo. Check the contract term before you commit.

    Is MoveBlueprint a CRM?

No. MoveBlueprint is a quote form and booking on your website plus an AI video survey, and the result lands in the CRM you already run. SmartMoving has a native push; other CRMs connect through the API, webhooks or a lead email. A mover with no CRM can work from the MoveBlueprint dashboard.

Keep your CRM. Quote faster from your website.

The quote form is free, with no card. Book a demo to see the walkthrough and booking with the founder.
