QuoteIQ alternatives for moving companies
QuoteIQ is a service-business CRM. Moving is one of many trades it serves, alongside contractors, HVAC, plumbing, roofing and landscaping, and it publishes its prices, which most of this category does not. If you are comparing it against moving-only software, the real question is not which one is better. It is whether you need a tool that speaks moving, or a tool that covers every job your company takes.
A CRM and quoting platform for service businesses across dozens of trades. It publishes five tiers, from $29.99/mo for a single user up to $699/mo for unlimited users, cheaper if paid annually, and names its $149.99 Pro tier as the one aimed at moving companies. Each tier carries an allowance of AI credits. It includes satellite property measurement and photo capture.
Best for: companies that do moving and something else, and want one login for both.
Video-survey and quoting software built for moving companies only. The customer films a walkthrough from a text link, the AI identifies the items, volume and weight come off industry cube-sheet tables, and the mover reviews before anything goes out. $99/mo for the survey, $199/mo for the whole workflow.
Best for: movers whose bottleneck is getting an accurate quote out fast.
Keep QuoteIQ. Add the AI survey on top.
Most movers comparing us to QuoteIQ don't actually need to rip anything out. The quote widget and AI video survey run alongside QuoteIQ, connected through our open Partner API. There isn't a native one-click connector for QuoteIQ today and we won't pretend otherwise. Full replacement is further down this page if you want one system instead of two.

A trade CRM and a moving survey are different purchases
A general trade CRM has to describe every job the same way, so a move becomes a line item with a price. That works for a fence or a driveway. A household move is different: the price comes from what is in the house, and getting that wrong is what turns a booked job into an argument on move day.
That is the piece MoveBlueprint is built around. The customer films a walkthrough, the AI identifies the items, and the cubic feet and weight come from the same industry tables an estimator would use. The AI never assigns a weight of its own. You review and edit the inventory before the customer sees a number.
Where each one is actually cheaper
At one user, QuoteIQ is cheaper. Its entry tier is $29.99/mo, and nothing moving-specific competes with that. If you are one person quoting your own jobs, that is a real advantage and it would be dishonest to talk around it.
The comparison changes as you add people. QuoteIQ's tiers step by seat count: two users, four, ten, then unlimited at $699/mo. Each tier also carries a fixed allowance of AI credits, from 500 up to 8,000, so the AI itself is metered. MoveBlueprint does not count users and does not meter surveys, so adding office staff or running more walkthroughs never changes the bill.

How a QuoteIQ migration actually goes
- Keep QuoteIQ running while you test. Nothing has to be switched off to try a video survey.
- Send your next few leads a MoveBlueprint survey link and compare the inventory it builds against how you would have quoted the job yourself.
- If the survey holds up, move household moves onto MoveBlueprint and leave any other trades where they are.
- If moving is all you do, the pipeline, quoting, e-signature, deposits and dispatch are already inside MoveBlueprint, so the second subscription can end.
What’s different on MoveBlueprint: The quote is built from what the AI saw in the house, not from a form somebody filled in.

If moving is one of several things your company does, a moving-only tool leaves the rest of your work uncovered. QuoteIQ is built for exactly that mix, and it publishes its prices so you can work out the cost before a sales call.
- You run moving alongside other trades and want one system covering all of them.
- A single office user at $29.99/mo is genuinely cheaper than anything moving-specific.
- Satellite property measurement matters to how you price, which is common in exterior services.
- You want instant online quoting for jobs that are not household moves.
- The survey is the product: the customer films a walkthrough and the AI identifies what is in the house.
- Cube and weight come from industry cube-sheet tables rather than an AI guess, and you review every line.
- Users are unmetered on both plans, and the AI is not sold in credits, so nothing about usage changes the bill.
- Surveys are unmetered too, which matters in a category where charging per survey is the common model.
- Deposits land in your own Stripe or Square with no platform fee taken.
Common questions
Is MoveBlueprint a good QuoteIQ alternative for a moving company?
It depends on what else your company does. QuoteIQ covers moving alongside dozens of other trades. MoveBlueprint only does moving, and the survey is the product: the customer films a walkthrough, the AI identifies the items, and volume and weight come off industry cube-sheet tables. If moving is all you do, that focus is the reason to look. If you also run other trades, QuoteIQ covers ground we do not.
How much does QuoteIQ cost compared with MoveBlueprint?
QuoteIQ publishes five tiers: $29.99 a month for one user, $74.99 for two, $149.99 for four, which they name as the moving tier, $299 for ten, and $699 for unlimited users, each cheaper paid annually. Every tier also carries a fixed allowance of AI credits. MoveBlueprint is $99 a month for Survey and $199 for Complete, flat, with unlimited users on both, unmetered surveys and a free trial of 3 surveys or 14 days. At a single user QuoteIQ is cheaper. Once you add staff or use the AI heavily, the two models diverge. Prices read from their pricing page on 2026-08-25.
Does QuoteIQ do AI video surveys?
Not that they publish. Their pages describe satellite property measurement and 4K photo documentation rather than a customer-filmed video walkthrough analysed by AI. If a video survey is the thing you are shopping for, that is the gap to ask them about.
Can I run MoveBlueprint alongside QuoteIQ?
Yes. The $99 Survey plan exists for that: run the video survey and push the finished inventory into the system you already use through the open Partner API. Nothing has to be switched off to try it.
Does the AI decide how much my customer pays?
No. The AI identifies items only. Cubic feet and weight come from industry cube-sheet tables, not from the AI, and the price comes from your own rates. You review and edit the inventory before anything reaches the customer.

I am Daniel, second-generation Florida mover, and I built the software side myself. QuoteIQ covers a lot of trades and it covers them honestly, prices published and all. I only build for one. If your company does moving and three other things, they are the better fit. If you only move furniture, come and watch a walkthrough turn into a priced quote and judge it on that.
