    Chariot alternatives for moving companies

Chariot is built for movers, it publishes its price, and it is strong where a lot of software is weak: dispatch, crews and the office. If you are weighing it against a survey-first tool, the question worth asking is which end of the job is actually costing you. Chariot is aimed at move day and the back office. MoveBlueprint is aimed at the part before the job exists, when somebody wants a number and you have to drive out to give them one.

    Chariot

Cloud software for moving companies covering sales, operations, dispatch and back office. Published from $254/mo, paid quarterly or annually, as one tier sized to your company with no per-user or text-message limits. Includes a crew app, digital bills of lading, card and ACH payments and a QuickBooks integration.

Best for: companies whose pain is scheduling, crews and paperwork on move day.

    MoveBlueprint

Video-survey and quoting software. The customer films a walkthrough from a text link with no app to download, the AI identifies the items, volume and weight come off industry cube-sheet tables, and the mover reviews before the quote goes out. $99/mo to run the survey alongside your CRM, $199/mo for the whole workflow.

Best for: companies losing jobs to the wait between the call and the quote.

    You don't have to switch

Keep Chariot. Add the AI survey on top.

Most movers comparing us to Chariot don't actually need to rip anything out. The quote widget and AI video survey run alongside Chariot, connected through our open Partner API. There isn't a native one-click connector for Chariot today and we won't pretend otherwise. Full replacement is further down this page if you want one system instead of two.

    The real difference

    Two different bottlenecks

Most moving software is built around the job once it exists: schedule it, crew it, dispatch it, invoice it. Chariot does that well and its crew app is a real advantage in the field. If your office is drowning in scheduling and paperwork, that is the right thing to fix.

MoveBlueprint sits earlier. The customer films a walkthrough on their own phone, usually in a couple of minutes, and you get an inventory back without sending anyone out. The AI identifies items only. Cubic feet and weight come from the same industry tables an estimator would use, and you edit the list before the customer sees a price. The point is to answer somebody the same day instead of booking an evening to go and look.

    Cost, honestly

The commitment matters more than the number

Chariot publishes from $254/mo and it includes a lot for that: unlimited users, unlimited texting, the crew app, payments. Compared with the enterprise end of this market it is a fair price for a full platform, and the single-tier structure means you are not being upsold module by module.

The difference to weigh is the term. Chariot is paid quarterly or annually. MoveBlueprint is monthly with no contract and a free trial of 3 surveys or 14 days, so finding out whether video surveys work for your customers costs you one month rather than a quarter. If you are unsure whether your customers will actually film a walkthrough, that is the cheaper way to find out.

    Switching from Chariot

How a Chariot migration actually goes

    1. You may not need to migrate at all. The $99 Survey plan is designed to run beside the system you already use.
    2. Send your next few leads a survey link and compare the inventory that comes back against how you would have quoted the job.
    3. Push the finished inventory into your existing CRM through the open API and keep dispatch where it is.
    4. Only consolidate if you decide you want one system: pipeline, quoting, e-signature, deposits and dispatch are all inside the $199 plan.

What’s different on MoveBlueprint: The quote gets built from a walkthrough the customer films, so nobody has to drive out to produce a number.

Where Chariot is the better pick

If your trucks are rolling and the mess is in scheduling, crews and paperwork, a survey tool does not touch that problem. Chariot is built for the operational half of the job and has a native crew app for move day, which MoveBlueprint does not yet have.

    • Dispatch and crew management are your bottleneck, not quoting.
    • You want a native crew app in the field on move day rather than a browser.
    • Unlimited two-way texting with no message caps matters to how your office runs.
    • You are ready to commit quarterly or annually and want one predictable number.
    Where MoveBlueprint fits better
    • The survey is the product: the customer films a walkthrough and the AI identifies what is in the house.
    • Cube and weight come from industry cube-sheet tables rather than an AI guess, and you review every line.
    • Monthly with no contract and a free trial of 3 surveys or 14 days, so testing it costs you a month rather than a quarter.
    • Surveys are unmetered, in a category where charging per survey is the common model.
    • It runs alongside the CRM you already have, so this does not have to be a platform switch.
    FAQ

    Common questions

Is MoveBlueprint a good Chariot alternative?

They solve different halves of the job. Chariot is built around move day: scheduling, dispatch, crews, bills of lading and payments. MoveBlueprint is built around the part before the job exists, turning a walkthrough the customer films into a priced quote the same day. If dispatch is your bottleneck, Chariot. If quoting is, us.

How much does Chariot cost compared with MoveBlueprint?

Chariot publishes from $254 a month, paid quarterly or annually, as a single tier sized to your company with no per-user or text-message limits. MoveBlueprint is $99 a month for Survey and $199 for Complete, billed monthly with no contract and a free trial of 3 surveys or 14 days. The bigger difference is the term rather than the number.

Does Chariot do AI video surveys?

Not that they publish. Their pricing page lists CRM, scheduling, dispatch, a crew app, digital bills of lading, payments and QuickBooks, and does not mention a customer-filmed video survey analysed by AI.

Does MoveBlueprint have a crew app for move day?

Not a native one yet. The dashboard and the survey run in a mobile browser, but if your crews need a dedicated field app on move day, Chariot has one and we do not.

Can I keep Chariot and add MoveBlueprint just for surveys?

Yes, and for a lot of companies that is the sensible order. The $99 Survey plan runs beside your existing system and pushes the finished inventory in through the open Partner API.

I am Daniel, second-generation Florida mover, and I built the software side myself. Chariot is good software and I am not going to pretend otherwise. It fixes move day. I built for the other end, the evening you lose driving out to look at somebody's living room so you can give them a number. If that is the part costing you jobs, come and watch a walkthrough turn into a quote.
